Ductor Corp. and Hermo Pharma are Finalists for the 2013 Red Herring Top 100 Europe Award

Helsinki, March 15. 2013– Ductor Corp. and Hermo Pharma announced today the have been selected as a finalists for Red Herring’s Top 100 Europe award, a prestigious list honoring the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the European business region.

Plexpress Raises $2.3M to commercialize TRAC Gene Expression Platform

Plexpress announces follow-on funding of up to $2.3M to commercialise its novel TRAC (Transcript Analysis with the aid of Affinity Capture) platform for high-content gene expression analysis. The investment has been secured to commercialise the technology internationally, build up the ADMET screening service as well as to develop TRAC specifically within the oncology sector. Existing investors - Conor Technology Fund, VTT Ventures, Aloitusrahasto Vera and the Helsinki University Fund and Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation, have invested $1.4M initially with further milestone payments of up to $900k.

Jonathan Knowles invests in Hermo Pharma's Series A round

Hermo Pharma has closed its Series A round of venture funding. The series was led by Aloiturahasto Vera (Avera) Ltd. and the Helsinki University Funds.
