Once the company has been established, it becomes an HBSP incubator company, and this is when the work to start up, and the business begins. Normally, the incubator phase lasts from 1 to 2 years and requires that an incubator contract be in place. The incubator contract commits the HBSP’s staff to working hands-on with the start-up entrepreneur in the different areas of the business and, if necessary, to obtaining external expertise at a given expense.
The incubator phase can be followed by the so-called accelerator phase, which is when the preparations for international expansion begin.
