Business idea assessment

Helsinki University’s innovation managers Taina Saksa (Meilahti) and Tuomas Mennola (Kumpula) play a key role in handling ideas that have spin off the university’s research. Their job is to review ideas and assist researchers in preparing invention disclosures. Other business ideas are reviewed together with the HBSP business development director.

Based on a possible invention disclosure, a start-up entrepreneur can apply for TEKES-funded TULI investment that is normally intended for the preparation of market surveys by external consultants.
